September 12th, 2008Hi folks! I finished the template for wordpress finally. I was thinking start up this blog 3 or 4 months ago but projects and my dark side push down it… Anyway, now the initial part is done and I will try to post some own interesting tutorials about databases, Javascript / AJAX, webdesign, PHP and much more.
But this is a blog, a personal blog, so I will try to comment some experiences about my own projects too and (a little less) about my life.
And as maybe you noticed, I suck at english, but I will do my best to write in english ^_^
See you soon guys!

Está muy bien, pero yo le daría más contraste al texto… No es que cueste leerlo, pero cansa más de lo que debiera.
PD: Should I have commented in english?
Thanks I will put a little more contrast for the entry text
WordPress Themes…
I just wanted to share this nice address, where you can get wordpress themes for free. I use one of the designs for my own blog and it was really easy to install. Just activating it in admin and the job was done. …
Hi – So glad to see you working with WP!
Reason I’m here: I’ve decided to concentrate on jQuery for my upcoming MultiUserWP deployment.
But it’s a big project.
The snags in using jQuery w/WP … my head hurts!
For example, your elegant popup … I can really imagine using that on my web pages.
But in WP?
My head aches thinking of it.
Could you (Yes, of course you can!) would you show how to roll out something fairly complex in WP?
Easy enough to do on a standalone page … even using Google’s jQuery … but with WP, since it uses jQuery in its own way, and also uses prototype (still?) … it’s rather ghastly.
For example: I notice no “subscribe to comments” here.
So many off the shelf plugins that I need to redo.
If I start using jQuery.
It’s scary!
thanks for your good work

Hi Ben! Thanks for posting.
I am already using jquery on this (unfinished) template, it’s working on the main menu from the top and at the click event from contact (top right menu).
You only need to know the structure from WP ( it’s a little complex at the begining, but not at all ) and include in the index or some sectio de jquery library and your needed js files to manage events… where is the problem? :s
Do you mind if I post your article in my Thesis paper? I would think this article suits my topic perfectly. Well, thanks for writing this.
loved the post. I’m gonna show this to my (future) bf heh. Hope you’re having a great Sunday. – Danielle
